Little Yellow Dress

Dress // Sunnies similar here // Shoes similar here // Watch // Lipstick
So I don't normally do posts based around fashion or any particular items of clothing. However, I got so many compliments and lots of people asking about this dress, so I figured WHY NOT?!?! My brother was kind enough to snag some photos after church this past weekend. It was legit like 105 degrees outside and we were sweating like there was no tomorrow, but here we are still living with photos to show for it.
I just recently bought this dress from Loft. I don't "shop" very much (I don't necessarily count online shopping and/or target). Well, really I never shop. So I had so much fun hanging out with my mom recently and checking out some girly stores I don't often find myself in anymore since I have a very wild toddler. I've always been drawn to the longer, tea-length skirts and dresses probably because they remind me of the 50s, which I really wish I had been around for. I always say I'm going to get one and never do because I always end up feeling..well...matronly or something. I just never thought I could pull it off, but I decided to throw caution to the wind and GO FOR IT. I am so glad I purchased this little light flowy dress because I seriously have never gotten so many compliments in one day! Hahaha sooooo if you are running low on compliments in your life run, don't walk to Loft and get yourself this dress. It's such a pretty shade of yellow, and I just felt cheery wearing it all day! It's the perfect summer dress to have hanging in your closet and seems really easy to dress up or down depending on where you are headed.
I am planning on wearing it to my sister-in-law's college graduation this week, so don't be mad when you see this one on repeat. So fun, so girly, and SO worth buying.
Hope all you lovelies are having a fantastic week. Let me know what you would like to see blogged around here in the near future.
